Yes you can request a new brand / product if it meets our Product Selection Criteria: https://vitagene.co.za/pages/product-quality-assurance
We are happy to add new products to a brand that already exists on VitaScript.
Adding a new brand to VitaScript is a longer process as it needs to be reviewed by our SAHPRA specialist to ensure product quality and assurance. We need to receive product brand requests from more than one practitioner before the range review process is started.
As VitaGene currently does not have a pharmacy or dispensing license, claiming back from medical aid is unsuccessful.
However, we are currently working on this process so that patients can claim back from medical aids in the future.
